Why Christians should not vote for Obama

This is a very misleading video. Surprising that this is coming from a preacher. Obama is a Christian, but he also believes in separation of church and state. The views here have not been expressed in the way Bill Keller states. While I am a conservative christian, the religious right believes in the letter of the law, like the Pharisees, rather ... Read Morethan justice tempered by mercy. Obama does not believe in abortion or gay marriage, but he doesn't believe we should regulate a woman's body (esp. in cases of rape and incest) and he wants 'unions' not marriage for gay couples so they will not be mistreated under the law the way they are now (ie. The dying not allowed visits in the hospital by their loved ones (because they are not married) although their families have disowned them). It is not the duty of sinners to punish other sinners.

I find it difficult to believe your claim that you are a conservative Christian and yet support Obama. In case you don't know, Obama does not believe that believing in Jesus is the only way to be saved. It is also not true that he does not believe in abortion. In fact, he even supports the killing of babies who survive an unsuccessful abortion. Yes, it is true that there should be a separation of church and state. But shouldn't you, as a Christian, as you claim you are, be praying for the nation to elect a leader who is honest about his beliefs- (Obama is dishonest by claiming to be a Christian but rejecting the most fundamental truth about Christianity)and who is more in tune with what the Bible teaches ? I think to be a true Christian always involves making a choice between what is right and what is wrong (according to God's laws). The moment we step out of that framework is when we go down the slippery slope of compromise.
